Peoria PD searches for 2 men who threatened workers, robbed store

PEORIA, AZ (CBS5) -

Police say two men pulled off an armed robbery at a Peoria store Tuesday but investigators were able to identify the suspects and are asking for your help locating them.

Skylar Milligan, 19, walked into a store near 79th Avenue and Bell Road about 5 p.m. Tuesday and tried to steal from the electronics area. A store employee caught him and allowed him to hand over the items and leave the store, according to Peoria police.

Aaron Burleson, 20, then entered the store and tried to buy several electronics but his credit cards were denied so he tried to apply for a store card, police said. He filled out the application and after it was denied, he attempted to steal the items. As store employees worked to detain him, he pulled out a knife and threatened them, police stated.

Burleson got in a gray 2007 Ford Taurus that Milligan was driving and the pair fled. Detectives in the area spotted the car but Milligan fled from officers near 55th Avenue and Sweetwater Avenue.
