LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Metro police on Monday said they are still looking for a man in connection with an attempted robbery back on Dec. 3, 2013.

Police said the man entered an unnamed business on South Decatur Boulevard near U.S. 95 at about 3:46 p.m. and tried to conceal merchandise and exit without paying.

When a store employee attempted to stop him, he brandished a handgun, dropped the merchandise and fled.

The man is described as Hispanic, between 20 and 26 years old, 5'11" tall and about 170 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He has a scar on the left side of his face.

He was wearing a black polo shirt with a white logo, black pants and black shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call Metro's Robbery Section at 702-828-3591 or, to remain anonymous, Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555. You may also leave information online at www.crimestoppersofnv.com.
