LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
With the warmer months approaching, the nearly 1-year-old Wet ‘n' Wild water park in the southwest end of the valley is looking to hire more than 450 people for this summer.
The water park is urging anyone interested in working at the amusement attraction and who is at least 16 years old to apply online at www.wetnwildlasvegas.com.
Some of the positions include lifeguard, admissions, guest services, emergency medical technicians, maintenance, food and beverage, retail, operations and security. Some supervisory positions are also available.
"We're looking for enthusiastic people to join the Wet 'n' Wild Las Vegas team as we prepare for our exciting second season to welcome back guests and greet new visitors to the park," said Trevor Wilson, Head of Marketing for the water park. "We had a great team last year and look forward to many of those employees returning in addition to the many others to round out our expanded staff."
Detailed job descriptions and application instructions can be found under "Employment" at Wet ‘n' Wild's website. Wet 'n' Wild said it will call applicants for interviews in the coming weeks.
The water park at 7055 S. Fort Apache Rd. will open on April 12 and operate through September.
