LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

A woman and man are being sought for an armed robbery that took place earlier this month in the east end of the Las Vegas Valley.

Las Vegas Metro police said the couple entered a convenience store in the area of Nellis Boulevard and Sahara Avenue about 1 a.m. on Feb. 6.

The woman pointed a gun at a worker there and demanded money while the man acted as a lookout, police said.

The two suspects fled after the worker complied with the demand.

The female suspect in the case was described as Hispanic in her early 20s with long, dark hair. She was last seen wearing a black, pullover jacket with white stripes on the wrist, a waistband and blue jeans.

The male suspect was described as Hispanic in his 20s, 5'10" to 6', 170-180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue Dodgers ball cap with white letters and a gray bill, a long sleeve gray shirt, light color jeans, purple gloves and a black and white bandana face mask.

Police urged anyone with information on the cast to contact Metro's Robbery Section at 702-828-3591 or Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
