LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Metro Officer Bill Cassell confirmed police are investigating a marijuana grow house on the south end of the Valley.

The house is located near Bermuda Road and Cactus Avenue, though police would not confirm an exact address.

Cassell indicated police were finishing their investigation after 5 p.m. Tuesday, and would provide updates on Wednesday.

A narcotics officer at the scene said one person was taken into custody. That person was armed, but surrendered peacefully, police said.

Police further said it's estimated the house contained about 100 marijuana plants.

On Friday, police and SWAT busted a grow house on Lily Haven Avenue, near Patrick Lane and Sandhill Road. In all, police confiscated 758 plants worth an estimated $800,000. Police believe this grow operation may be connected to others.
