PD: Man brandishing knife robs Mesa CVS store

MESA, AZ (CBS5) -

Mesa police are looking for a sole suspect after a CVS store was robbed early Thursday afternoon.  

The suspect entered the store in the 2800 block of South Sossaman around 12:35 p.m. and approached the front register. Police said he was carrying some items to purchase.

He then pulled out a knife with a 6-inch blade and demanded money from the register.

A witness told police he then saw the suspect run out and hop in a white car, possibly a Toyota or Honda.

The suspect is described as between 5'7" to 5'9" tall. He was in his teens or early 20s and had dark hair.
