LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

A top-ranked high school football player is coming to the Las Vegas Valley, and he's bringing his famous father with him.

The athletic department at Bishop Gorman High School on Thursday confirmed Cordell Broadus has transferred in from Diamond Bar High School in southern California.

Broadus, ranked No. 18 in the country for the class of 2015, is the son of rapper Snoop Dogg.

Bishop Gorman would only confirm Broadus has enrolled for school. He's said to be fielding scholarship offers from Notre Dame, USC and Baylor.

Las Vegas briefly hosted one of Snoop Dogg's youth football leagues.
