Police: Thief punches witness to Las Vegas Strip robbery

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Police said they are looking for two men in connection with a robbery on the Las Vegas Strip last month that ended with a witness being punched.

The robbery happened about 10:20 p.m. Dec. 27, 2013, in the 3700 block of South Las Vegas Boulevard.

Las Vegas Metro police said one of the men served as a lookout while the other man opened the cash register at the business and stole money from the till. They said someone who witnessed the robbery approached the first man, who punched him. They said the pair then ran away.

The first man was described as black, 25 years old, 5'10" tall and 170 pounds, wearing a black sweatshirt with white stripes, black pants and a black Chicago White Sox baseball cap.

The second man was described as black, 25 years old, 5'11" tall and 175 pounds, wearing a black, plaid, long-sleeve shirt, camouflage pants and a black Chicago White Sox baseball cap.

Anyone with information about the robbery was asked to call Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
