LAS VEGAS (AP) -

A defense attorney says he'll seek the release of a North Las Vegas man jailed to await sentencing on four charges in an April 2011 shooting involving the crew of the reality TV show "Repo Games."

Attorney Bennair Bateman said Friday he hopes to gain Carlos Enrique Barron's release pending sentencing on a date that hasn't been determined.

Clark County District Court Judge James Bixler ordered Barron taken immediately into custody late Thursday.

A jury found the 43-year-old Barron guilty of felony assault with a deadly weapon, carrying a concealed weapon and burglary and misdemeanor discharging a firearm.

Barron was acquitted of two attempted murder and one felony discharging a firearm into a vehicle charges.

He's facing a sentence ranging from probation to up to 22 years behind bars.
