LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Metro police are looking for a suspect in a homicide that happened Saturday morning near west Russell Road and south Valley View Boulevard.

Police say units responded to a homicide scene in the parking lot of the Crazy Horse III Strip Club at about 8:30 a.m.

According to police, upon arrival they found a white car with a deceased man in his early 20s suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim's name hasn't been released.

Russell Road between south Valley View Boulevard and Polaris Avenue was closed for most of Saturday morning during Metro's investigation.

"It's kind of scary to know someone got shot where I work. It doesn't leave me with the greatest feeling," said Mike Hanks, who works behind the bar inside the Crazy Horse III. He said it's a popular spot for visitors and Las Vegas locals because the club is open 24 hours a day.

"I'm hoping it's not one of the regular customers. A lot of those guys are friends we see on a regular basis," Hanks said, adding that he's thankful to have finished his shift about four hours before the shooting occurred.

An employee at the strip club said there are surveillance cameras on the outside of the building, but couldn't say if the cameras were pointed in the direction of the shooting.

Police said they don't have a description of a suspect or a motive in the shooting. They're hoping witnesses can provide them with some information that could lead them to a suspect.  Anyone with information should contact Metro police or call Crime stoppers at (702) 385-5555.
