A Southwest Airlines flight was forced to make an emergency landing at McCarran Airport about 5 p.m. Monday after a smoke alarm went off in the plane's rear lavatory.
The flight originated in Phoenix and was headed to Sacramento. It was diverted to Las Vegas.
According to a spokesperson for McCarran Airport, there were 140 passengers on the flight. They were put on a different flight and continued on to Sacramento without incident. There were no injuries reported.
