PHOENIX (CBS5) -

He drops-in, stealing presents and Christmas cheer from the town of Whoville, so the story goes, but in North Phoenix, Amber Myllion says there's a real Grinch making his mark.

"It's terrible," Myllion said. "You can literally see him taking all the packages."

Myllion, like many around the holiday season, was expecting a delivery from FedEx on Friday morning.

Her home video-security system showed FedEx made the delivery at 11:49 a.m. but less than a minute later at 11:50 a.m., a stranger pulled into her driveway and took all the packages off her front doorstep.

"He was definitely sitting down the street waiting for the [delivery man] and just following him around the neighborhood," Myllion said.

The man seen in the video loaded a white SUV with all the packages, robbing the Myllion family of gifts; presents not meant for them but for their customers.

Amber and Warren Myllion are photographers and say the packages were full of family portraits.

"We're just a little bummed," Warren Myllion said. "This is unexpected and I just wish there were ways to avoid this."

The FedEx delivery man was making a delivery at another address when he noticed the suspicious activity at Myllion's home and notified FedEx of the possible crime.

A FedEx Spokesperson said all of the company's drivers are trained to spot this kind of criminal activity but Phoenix Police suggest being cautious and consider your delivery options before your Christmas presents end up somewhere else.

"That's the real bummer," Amber Myllion said. "These beautiful portraits are gone, they're in the trash and I wish he'd just do me a solid and throw them back in my front yard."

If you recognize the man and vehicle caught on the security footage, contact Phoenix Police.
