LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
Two emerging bands are teaming up for the first alternative rock show at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas' new music venue.
The Chelsea at the Las Vegas Strip resort will host Cage the Elephant and Grouplove on Thursday, Jan. 9 at 8 p.m.
Tickets, which start at $30, were made available on Friday.
Each band is no stranger to the Cosmopolitan stage. Cage the Elephant played twice at the property, once as an opener for The Black Keys in February 2011 and again in April 2012. Grouplove performed at the property's outdoor Boulevard Pool in October 2012.
Each band is coming off releases of sophomore studio albums. The Kentucky-based Cage the Elephant recently released Melophopia in October while Los Angeles' Grouplove dropped Spreading Rumours in September.
