NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV (FOX5) -

North Las Vegas police are looking for several people after, they say, a middle school student was ordered into a van on Wednesday morning.

Police said the Von Tobel Middle School student, 12, was walking to school near North Las Vegas Boulevard and Pecos Road about 8 a.m. when a maroon Chevrolet minivan pulled up beside her.

The side door slid open and a Hispanic man, described as about 30 years old, ordered the girl to get in. The girl reported seeing two teenage girls inside the van and a Hispanic male driver.

The girl ran toward the school and notified police.

The van was captured on surveillance video from a nearby convenience store.

Anyone with information about the van or its occupants is urged to call the North Las Vegas Police Department at 702-633-9111 or, to remain anonymous, Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555. You may also leave information online at www.crimestoppersofnv.com.
