Metro police said a man who was hospitalized following a fight on Dec. 11 succumbed to his injuries on Sunday.
Metro officers with the Laughlin Resident Section were called to a home on Casino Drive just after 1 p.m. on Dec. 11 where they found an unconscious man bleeding from the face.
He was taken to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center in Bullhead City. When it was discovered his injuries were life-threatening, he was transferred to University Medical Center in Las Vegas.
Police said it appears the victim and suspect, identified as Michael Dymond, 54, knew each other and that an argument between them turned physical.
Dymond was taken into custody on Dec. 12. He's currently at Clark County Detention Center, where he faces charges of felony battery resulting in substantial bodily harm.
The coroner will identify the victim and his exact cause of death in the coming days.
