Two people rescued in two-alarm Henderson Fire

HENDERSON, NV (FOX5) -

Two people have been rescued from an apartment complex fire in Henderson on Saturday morning.

Kathleen Richards, Henderson Fire Department PIO confirms, the Henderson Fire Department responded to a two-alarm fire at the Bellevue Apartments near Sunset Road and Annie Oakley Drive at approximately 8:30 a.m. Saturday.

The fire was successfully knocked down at 8:55 a.m., and both trapped victims were rescued shortly after. The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.

The Red Cross is assisting 14 adults and two children from the six-unit apartment fire.

This fire is currently under investigation.
