A woman was charged with first-degree arson after a fire at a home in the southwest end of the Las Vegas Valley early Thursday.
Clark County Fire Department said crews responded to a blaze in the 7500 block of Camero Avenue, between Tenaya Way and Buffalo Drive, about 1 a.m.
The fire department said a man at the home told his alarm company to "send the fire truck." The fire grew, which prompted additional fire engines to be called, officials said.
The fire was contained to an upstairs bathroom. According to CCFD, a woman inside the home told fire officials she set fire to her boyfriend's clothing in the bathtub during a domestic dispute.
The fire caused about $15,000 in damage, CCFD said. There were no serious injuries as a result of the incident.
The woman was taken into custody and held at Clark County Detention Center, CCFD said.
