LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

The service of a search warrant in a western Las Vegas neighborhood prompted a call for the SWAT team Thursday morning, according to police.

A spokesman for Las Vegas Metro police said North Las Vegas police are serving a search warrant at a home near the intersection of Tenaya Way and Washington Avenue.

The spokesman said SWAT members were not involved in a standoff, but instead called it a "situation."

Pictures sent in to FOX5 ReportIt showed part of Washington was blocked off by police vehicles.

It was not immediately clear what police were looking for during the service of the search warrant.
