LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Marvel superheroes are coming to the Las Vegas Strip.

Madame Tussauds at the Venetian will pull back the curtain on its new "Marvel 4D" theater Wednesday, allowing guests to pose side-by-side with wax statues of The Avengers.

Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), Iron Man, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Captain America (Chris Evans) will be among the heroes featured in the exhibit, which also includes a short film where the heroes, "save Las Vegas from destruction," according to a news release.

The Avengers are not the first Marvel stars to be put on display in Las Vegas. The museum has previously exhibited statues of Spider-Man and Hugh Jackman as Wolverine.

Wednesday's event will also feature the debut of new celebrity statues of actresses Sandra Bullock and Sofia Vergara, actor/singer Jamie Foxx and singer Gwen Stefani.
