LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

If the Rebels are to make their first postseason bowl game in 13 years, they will have to at least get past Air Force Academy in a Thursday night tilt.

At 5-5, University of Nevada, Las Vegas' football program will need to win at least one of the next two games to become bowl-eligible. UNLV started the season at 4-2 before dropping three of the last four games.

The first chance at a win will be against the Falcons, whom the Rebels have defeated only once before in Colorado Springs. Air Force leads the all-time series at 13-5.

Air Force, though, already notched a losing season at 2-8 entering the UNLV game. The game is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.

In their previous game, the Rebels dropped a 28-24 contest against Utah State on Nov. 9.

UNLV closes out the season at Sam Boyd Stadium against San Diego State University on Nov. 30.
