The Runnin' Rebels are hoping "Goodluck" is with them with their latest recruit signee.
The University of Nevada, Las Vegas men's basketball program announced a national letter of intent signing from Massachusetts product Goodluck Okonoboh.
UNLV's athletic department touted the 6'9" Okonoboh as the No. 21 overall player and the No. 4 center in the country.
Okonoboh will enroll as a freshman at UNLV next fall.
"Goodluck is a fabulous addition to our program," head coach Dave Rice said. "He impacts the game on both ends of court. He is a tremendous competitor as well as a high-level rebounder and shot blocker. Goodluck values winning and scores well in transition and in the halfcourt."
UNLV said Okonoboh averaged 17 points, 11 rebounds and 8 blocks in his junior year at Wilbraham & Monson Academy in Woburn, MA.
UNLV got the nod from Okonoboh, who also considered Duke, Florida, Indiana and Ohio State.
The Okonoboh signing comes after the signing of 6'7" forward Dwayne Morgan, the No. 15 overall recruit in the country.
