Authorities released the name of a woman who died in crash that involved a driver who ran a red light in southeast Las Vegas.

The Clark County Coroner's Office named Iva Mihova, 30, of Las Vegas, as the person who died in the incident that happened late Wednesday night. Medical Examiners say Mihova died from multiple blunt force injuries and her death was ruled an accident.

Las Vegas Metro police Sgt. Richard Strader said the wreck happened just before midnight at Eastern Avenue and Warm Springs Road.

According to Metro, a driver, who was identified as 20-year-old Izzabella Anderson, ran a red light while traveling northbound on Eastern and struck a southbound BMW on its passenger side. A woman inside the BMW was rushed to Sunrise Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.

A man, who was identified as 39-year-old Ivov Karkaliev, who was the driver of the BMW was also hospitalized but sustained no injuries, police said.

Police said the woman who ran the red light was treated for minor injuries. Police said blood tests were done to determine if she was driving under the influence.

A third car was also involved in the crash, but police said the driver of the vehicle was not injured.

The wreck marked the 91st auto-related fatality in Metro's jurisdiction.
