Police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened early Saturday in front of a Tucson liquor store.
Sgt. Chris Widmer says officers responded to a call of shots fired and found a 32-year-old man lying on the ground in front of the store. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not yet been released.
Detectives interviewed several people and learned the shooting happened after the victim and others were leaving the Wooden Nickel Tavern for the night.
A fight broke out in front of the nearby liquor store, multiple shots were fired and the victim was struck.
Widmer says the suspect remains outstanding and detectives are asking the public to call police if they have any information about the shooting.
