Temple Beth El capped off its yearlong 100th anniversary celebration on Saturday night with a gala inside the temple.
During this year, the group has celebrated in numerous ways, including a look at the building's architecture just last weekend.
Officials told CBS 3 that it is an honor to serve the people of Western Massachusetts.
"We're very proud to be a part of the greater Springfield community for the last 100 years," said Craig Kazin, a co-chair of the temple. "This is just the icing on the cake of a wonderful year of celebration that we've had. I'm very proud of the people I work with and I'm very proud to be a part of this congregation and of the greater Springfield Jewish community."
The temple estimated that 400 people were in attendance for the gala.
They said they are the largest conservative temple in all of Western Mass.
