Even though Halloween has passed, police in North Las Vegas plan to look out for driving law violators this weekend.
North Las Vegas police say a "Joining Forces" DUI Saturation Patrol will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 3 a.m. throughout the city's thoroughfares.
Police say officers will stop drivers for speeding, running red lights and other violations in order to identify impaired drivers.
In addition, officers plan to teach drivers and passengers about the dangers of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
The saturation event is being planned as part of a Joining Forces campaign from a grant from the Nevada Department of Public Safety.
