HENDERSON, NV (FOX5) -

The Clark County Coroner's Office confirmed Thursday the name of a 23-year-old woman who died after a shooting inside a Henderson home.

Medical examiners confirmed the victim in the shooting as Cherish Noelle Pincombe, of Las Vegas.

On Wednesday, FOX5 obtained an arrest report that detailed witness accounts of the events leading up to Pincombe's death.

Police said Pincombe was shot in the head Tuesday morning at a house in Henderson by Colin Lowrey, who told police he didn't believe the gun to be loaded.

According to statements by Lowrey's roommates, the victim was a guest at the house. Lowrey, his three roommates and the victim gathered to watch a movie prior to the shooting.

Following the movie, Lowrey and a roommate began to chat with random people on omegle.com, a website which allows users to speak with people from around the world anonymously.

Sometime later, the victim joined Lowrey and his roommate, chatting with people online. A woman claiming to be from Norway asked the three if they owned a gun. Lowrey said he did, retrieving a Remington .45 handgun and a rifle from his bedroom.

Lowrey showed the firearm to the person online before taking it apart and cleaning it. He said that after cleaning it, he reassembled it and left it unloaded on a desk next to the computer they had been using.

Lowrey told police that at about 8:20 a.m., he left to use the bathroom and saw the victim picking the gun up. A few minutes later, Lowrey claimed the victim asked him to point the handgun at her head. He said he grabbed the gun but forgot to check if it was loaded, instinctively racking the slide before placing it against the victim's temple.

Lowrey pulled the trigger, shooting the victim in the head. She was later pronounced dead at Sunrise Hospital Trauma.

Lowrey told police he believes the victim retrieved the gun's magazine and inserted it in the firearm while he was in the bathroom.

Lowrey is an active Army reservist who told police he has been through many hours of firearm training.

Lowrey was arrested and charged with open murder.
