Several people accused of possessing and selling drugs to Northern Arizona University students were arrested Monday after officers served a search warrant on a home, Flagstaff police said.
Among the five arrested were two students, one from NAU and the other from Coconino Community College.
The Northern Arizona Street Crimes Task Force executed the warrant at the Sterling Pointe apartment complex at 923 W. University.
The investigation began several months ago when officers targeted one of the residents. Undercover agents conducted several controlled purchases of MDMA, which is a concentrated form of the drug ecstasy and classified as a dangerous drug.
During their investigation, agents said they learned that cocaine and marijuana were also being sold, transported and distributed from the home mostly to the local college population.
Agents seized more than five ounces of cocaine, an array of drug paraphernalia and a small amount of marijuana and MDMA. They also found $5,000 cash.
Those arrested were:
Jeffrey Brogger, 22, of 923 W. University. He was booked into jail on charges of possession/transportation of narcotics for sale, possession of narcotics drugs for sale and three counts of sale of dangerous drugs.
Jonathan Brisco, 20, of Orange, CA, was booked on charges of possession of narcotics drugs for sale and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Shawn Burk, 23, of Los Angeles, was booked on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
Dakota Schatz, 21, of 923 W. University, was booked on charges of possession of narcotic drugs for sale and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Seth Perkins, 20, of 923 Summit, was booked on charges of possession of dangerous drugs.
