Vehicle crashes into bus stop in northwest Vegas

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Police said several people were injured after a vehicle struck a bus stop in northwest Las Vegas.

Las Vegas Metro police reported the incident near Washington Avenue and Decatur Boulevard Friday at 2:17 p.m.

Police noted the vehicle was not traveling at a high speed when it smashed into the bus stop.

Police said one of the people injured may require transport to the hospital.

The cause of the accident and the extent of the injuries were not immediately disclosed.

Police advised motorists to expect delays in the area.
