Bowling Green Police are looking for two men they say may have been involved in an armed robbery near the Bowling Green State University campus Tuesday.
Police say two residents at an apartment complex at 524 North Enterprise Street were robbed at gunpoint around 3 p.m. Tuesday.
"I just heard a lot of stomping around, loud noises," explained Cameron Pool, who lives below the apartment that was robbed. "It's nothing unusual, so I just thought it was some regular, everyday thing."
Pool says an event like this proves it's important to always be aware of your surroundings.
"Keep your doors locked, you never can trust anyone, and no matter where you think you're safe, you might not be," he said.
Police say the three suspects fled from the apartment complex and have not been found.
BGSU sent an alert to their students, warning them of the men.
"If anyone ran into these guys when they're on the mission to get somewhere, they could have pulled the gun out and maybe fire a couple rounds off at them," Pool said.
Lt. Daniel Mancuso of the Bowling Green Police Department says robberies like this don't just occur during the school year.
"Obviously as the population is greater in Bowling Green, we have a greater chance of this type of call, but there's no specific time of year when we see a dramatic increase," he said.
Anyone with recognizes the men is asked to call Bowling Green Police at 419-352-2571.
