The Clark County Coroner's office released the name of a 51-year-old Henderson man who died in a motorcycle crash Thursday.
Medical examiners confirm, William T. Spellman died of multiple blunt force trauma and his death has been ruled an accident.
According to Henderson police, Spellman was involved in a crash that happened just after 7 a.m. on Horizon Ridge Parkway near Rich Perez Jr. Drive.
Police said the motorcyclist was heading eastbound on Horizon Ridge when he was struck by a westbound Dodge Neon. The Dodge was attempting a left turn in front of the rider, police said.
The motorcyclist was taken to St. Rose Dominican Hospital, where he later was pronounced dead.
The 17-year-old driver of the Dodge was not injured, police said.
The crash marked the sixth traffic-related fatality in Henderson this year.
