The Clark County district attorney is opening questions from the public about the police fatality fact-finding review and other issues in his office during a town hall meeting on Thursday.
District Attorney Steve Wolfson and County Commissioner Lawrence Weekly are slated to host the meeting at the West Las Vegas Library at 951 W. Lake Mead Blvd. from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The floor is being opened up to the public on topics including child support, domestic violence, juvenile crime and animal abuse.
"Town hall meetings are a great opportunity for me to hear directly from residents," Weekly said. "The DA's Office is a vital public safety department that deals with many of our community's most difficult issues such as domestic abuse, gang violence and police shootings."
The meeting is free to attend and open to the public.
