LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

The principal of Lied Middle School in Las Vegas was placed on home assignment after the second lewdness-related arrest involving a teacher there.

A spokesperson with Clark County School District confirmed the assignment for Principal Kimberly Bass-Davis pending an investigation.

The move follows the separate arrests involving teachers at Lied.

Las Vegas Metro police said the school's one-time boys' basketball coach and U.S. history teacher, Michael Barclay, 44, was booked into Clark County Detention Center Wednesday.

He was charged on counts of attempted lewdness with a child under the age of 14 and attempted statutory sexual seduction.

In August, Metro arrested the school's girls' basketball coach, Alphonso Washington, 47, on allegations of open and gross lewdness.
