LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Nevada Athletic Commission Executive Director Keith Kizer on Tuesday confirmed longtime boxing judge C.J. Ross is stepping down indefinitely.

The judge raised the ire of many in the boxing community on Saturday when she scored the bout between Floyd Mayweather and Canelo Alvarez at MGM Grand Garden Arena evenly.

Mayweather still won the fight handily, retaining his unbeaten record. The other judges acknowledged Mayweather's perceived dominance in the fight.

Ross last year gave Timothy Bradley a split-decision victory over Manny Pacquiao when many spectators gave the nod to Pacquiao.
