Authorities released the names of two people found shot to death in a North Las Vegas home on Sunday.
According to the Clark County Coroner's office, Gregory Landis, 53, and Amanda Landis, 25, were identified as the two people who died in the reported incident.
North Las Vegas police said officers were called to a home in the 4100 block of Hollis Street, near Craig Road and Commerce Street, on reports of shots fired. Officers found the two people suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
The two were pronounced dead at the scene.
Citing witnesses and evidence, police said the two were engaged in a heated argument when the elder Landis opened fire on his daughter before turning the gun on himself.
Two other people inside the home at the time were not injured.
Medical examiners did not disclose a cause of death for each person.
