LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
In hopes of identifying suspects, Metro police on Thursday released surveillance video which may reveal suspects in a shooting at Meadows Mall on Aug. 17.
Police said that just after 4:00 a.m., a juvenile was shot as he was waiting outside the mall with others on the release of a new, popular tennis shoe.
That victim was taken to University Medical Center Trauma in serious condition.
The victim was approached by two people. One of those people struck the victim in the face, knocking him to the ground. The second person produced a handgun and fired on the victim several times while he was still on the ground.
The first suspect is described as a man of about 20, 5'6" and 160 pounds. He was wearing all black.
The second suspect is also about 20, 5'10" and approximately 150 pounds. He was wearing a white shirt, blue pants and green Air Jordan tennis shoes.
Both suspects fled in a gray Dodge Charger.
The surveillance video shows multiple people, possibly including the suspects, fleeing the area on foot following the shooting. The next portion shows the Dodge Charger leaving the mall.
