LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

The Clark County Coroner's office released the name of a 23-year-old who died as a result of a motorcycle crash.

Medical examiners said Christopher Ryan Peistrup died from blunt force head and chest trauma as a result of an accident.

According to authorities, Peistrup's injuries were the result of a crash Tuesday with a box truck on U.S. 95.

Nevada Highway Patrol said the incident happened on the southbound 95 near Cheyenne Avenue at about 2:30 a.m.

Troopers did not specify what led to the crash but said the rider died at the scene. NHP also said the driver of the truck was not expected to face charges.

The truck's driver was not hurt.

Three lanes of U.S. 95 were blocked following the incident but were reopened.
