LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

About 308,000 visitors are expected to flock to Las Vegas for Labor Day weekend, according to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority.

Officials said the three-day weekend that signifies the unofficial end to summer is one of the last big travel weekends of the season. The thousands of tourists are expected to spend about $196 million during the holiday weekend, officials said.

Despite the large influx of tourists, officials reminded Las Vegas locals that there is plenty of events going on this weekend that they can enjoy.

"This weekend in town we'll have everything from Snoop Dogg to Black Sabbath to Earth, Wind and Fire to Brad Paisley," said Dawn Christensen, of the LVCVA. "The variety of entertainment here this weekend will draw a great crowd and play to a lot of interests."

Some of the performances that cost to attend include Air Supply at The Orleans all weekend.

Free options include Puddle of Mudd at the Fremont Street Experience in downtown.

Officials reminded locals that there are deals for some of the activities this weekend on websites like Groupon or Living Social.
