A pick-up driver was charged with driving under the influence after a crash in downtown Las Vegas Wednesday.
According to Las Vegas Metro police, the incident happened after 2 p.m. in the area of Bonanza Road and N. City Parkway.
Citing witness statements and evidence at the scene, police said 44-year-old Thaddeus James was behind the wheel of a Chevy pick-up truck that was attempting a left turn from westbound Bonanza to southbound City Parkway.
James's vehicle was struck by an eastbound Nissan Altima at the intersection, police said.
