LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

The Las Vegas Wranglers have added another piece to their defensive core, on Thursday announcing Nolan Julseth-White will return for the 2013-14 season.

Julseth-White, 25, notched three goals and 18 assists last season, his rookie outing with the Wranglers. He was twice called up to the American Hockey League, appearing with the San Antonio Rampage and Providence Bruins.

"Nolan is coming into his second year as a professional, but his maturity is far beyond that," said Wranglers Head Coach and General Manager Mike Madill. "He is a tremendous athlete who plays every game like it's the playoffs. If he gets a chance to climb to the American League, we may never get him back, but we're excited that he's chosen to start the year with us. He's another true professional who logs a lot of minutes."

The 6'2", 205-pound blueliner skated for four years at Union College, leading the Dutchmen to their first Frozen Four appearance in 2012.

Prior to college, the Chilliwack, British Columbia, native was good for 29 goals and 81 assists in four seasons with the Chilliwack Chiefs and Langley Chiefs of the British Columbia Hockey League.

"I'm excited to come back and play for a great organization and fans," Julseth-White said. "With the group returning, I know Mike [Madill] will put together a winning product that is hungry for a championship."

Julseth-White and the Wranglers will get back to business beginning on Saturday, Oct. 19 at 7:05 p.m. For tickets and information, visit www.lasvegaswranglers.com.
