LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Metro police said a shooting on Wednesday night near Blue Diamond Road and Rainbow Boulevard followed a road rage incident.

Shortly before 8:30 p.m., police said motorcyclists were cut off by a blue and silver Chevy Malibu.

The motorcyclists, along with several men in the Malibu, pulled into a McDonald's restaurant parking lot on Blue Diamond where words were exchanged.

The men then began throwing rocks at one another before one of the men from the Malibu fired shots.

No one was hit, but a parked car and nearby sign were damaged.

The men from the Malibu fled the scene. Police believe the car may have California license plates.
