ELKO, NV (FOX5) -

The Amber Alert issued Friday afternoon for two children taken from Elko, NV has been canceled.

Lillyanna Ramires, 9, and Martin Angel Rosales, 3, were recovered safely in Sacramento late Friday night near the 400 block of Richards Boulevard at approximately 11:31 p.m.

Officers were flagged down by Amber Schenck, the mother of the two children named in an Amber Alert that originated in Elko Nevada. Schneck, 29, was in the company of the two children and Elko PD was contacted. The children were placed into protective custody and removed from the missing persons system to include CHP's active Amber Alert.

Police said the children were put in the care of the Division of Child and Family Services and that Martin Cisneras Rosales and Schenck took them from Elko against court orders.
