The Las Vegas Wranglers continue to solidify their roster prior to the first puck drop in October.

On Tuesday, the team announced forward Carlo Finucci has re-signed for the 2013-14 season.

Finucci, 5'9" and 190 pounds, put up four goals and six assists in regular-season play with Las Vegas last season, adding three playoff goals in seven games.

The forward spent four years at University of Alaska, Fairbanks, where he was good for 18 goals and 35 assists.

Wranglers Head Coach and General Manager Mike Madill thinks the 26-year-old is capable of much more.

"Carlo is a guy who can do everything. In his short time as a pro, he still hasn't had the chance to do the things he's best at. He is a fierce competitor, who can make things happen, if you let him. I'm going to let him," Madill said.

Prior to college play, Finucci skated with the British Columbia Hockey League's Burnaby Express, tallying 54 goals and 112 assists in 169 games.

"The key for my re-signing with the Wranglers was knowing a person like Mike was going to be head coach of the hockey club," Finucci said. "Our goal will be to gel as a team, and do some damage in the regular season and playoffs. I can't wait to be back on the ice, and playing in front of Vegas fans again."

The Wranglers' 11th season gets underway Saturday, Oct. 19 at Orleans Arena. For tickets and information, visit
