LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

A self-proclaimed Juggalo was accused of confronting a man on a bicycle and then wounding him with meat cleavers in a northeast Las Vegas neighborhood.

A Las Vegas Metro police report released Tuesday gave details in the Aug. 2 arrest of 21-year-old Stephen Giles.

In the report, a man reported an incident to police in which he was confronted by a white male suspect in the area of Judson Avenue and Castleberry Lane.

The man told police, in the report, he was asked by the suspect if he went by the name "Homie." When the victim said yes, the suspect, in the report, introduced himself as "Schitzo."

Just as the victim was leaving on his bicycle, the suspect, as stated in the report, cut the bicyclist in the back. The victim told police, in the report, the suspect was holding two meat cleavers.

Police said they took pictures of two lacerations on the victim's back.

The victim was able to identify the suspect as Giles after police, in the report, ran through a database of people using the "Schitzo" moniker.

Police, in the report, later found Giles at a home several blocks away from the original incident. Police at the time reported finding two meat cleavers in a backpack belonging to him as well as a small amount of methamphetamine in Giles' sock.

Giles, in the report, claimed he confronted the victim, because he was annoying a friend of his. Giles, though, said he only punched the victim and didn't stab him.

Giles also claimed, in the report, the meat cleavers belong to his brother but later said they might be his. He said, in the report, the cleavers were part of the logo for the Juggalos street gang, a group he claimed membership.

"Juggalo" is a moniker given to fans of the rap group Insane Clown Posse.

Police noted in the report that Giles was largely uncooperative in an interview with the suspect.

Giles was booked into Clark County Detention Center on counts of attempted murder, battery with a deadly weapon and possession of a controlled substance.
