UNLV Runnin' Rebels release non-conference slate

Home games against University of Illinois and Arizona State University highlight the non-conference schedule for University of Nevada, Las Vegas men's basketball season.

The school's athletic department announced the Runnin' Rebels non-conference slate for the upcoming season, which comprises of 13 games outside of the Mountain West.

UNLV tips-off the season in a pair of exhibition games against NCAA Division II schools. The team will host Dixie State on Nov. 1 and Adams State on Nov. 5.

Regular season play begins at Thomas & Mack Center against Portland State University on Nov. 8.

The school's non-conference road schedule is highlighted by a visit to Tucson in a Dec. 7 tilt against University of Arizona.

The team will also be the host school for the Continental Tire Las Vegas Classic, which tips off on Dec. 18.

The team's Mountain West schedule includes 18 games against conference foes. The full schedule has not yet been released.
