LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

The Las Vegas Wranglers on Friday announced they have locked up a forward with a nose for the net.

Adam Hughesman, 22, will return for the 2013-14 season. The left wing made his rookie debut with the Wranglers last season, notching 13 goals and 18 assists.

Hughesman, 5'11" and 170 pounds, previously played with the Tri-City Americans of the Western Hockey League, amassing an impressive 140 goals and 210 assists in 338 games.

"Adam learned a lot about the pro game last season," Wranglers Head Coach and General Manager Mike Madill said. "Adam is ready and willing to be a go-to guy offensively this year, and he's a natural goal scorer, which I want him to get back to. He's a player with a tireless work ethic - he's relentless."

"I'm very blessed to be able to come back to a great organization and city. The players, front office and management treated me unbelievably last year. I look forward to the challenge of contending for the Kelly Cup with Coach Madill," Hughesman said.

The Wranglers will be back in action beginning on Saturday, Oct. 19 at Orleans Arena. For tickets and information, visit www.lasvegaswranglers.com.
