A woman received several cuts to her arms, leg, abdomen, face and neck, after what she told police, was an attack by another woman with a box cutter.
A Las Vegas Metro police report was released Wednesday for 32-year-old Latoya White, who was accused in the June 1 incident.
According to the report, police were called to the 2600 block of Van Patten Street, just off E. Sahara Avenue, in reference to a person who was stabbed, and yelling for help.
The report said, police found Michelle Garofalo, who had been cut several times and was bleeding. Garofalo told officers, in the report, White was the person who cut her.
While being treated at the hospital, Garofalo, who was being interviewed by police, said in the report, White visited her apartment, and asked to borrow a shirt. While retrieving the shirt, Garofalo, as she told police in the report, was attacked by White.
Garofalo also fell to the ground, prompting White to continue punching and cutting her, the victim told police in the report. Garofalo, as she said in the report, was able to kick White, and escape to a neighbor's place.
The victim, in the report, said White was mad at her the night before the incident, for giving drugs to Latoya's brother. However, Garofalo, in the report, said she thought issues were worked out by the time White came over.
A search of the Clark County Detention Center inmate database showed White's arrest date as July 30.
White was booked on charges of attempted murder with a deadly weapon, and battery with a deadly weapon.
