A man is injured after falling into a gravel pit following a car accident Saturday evening.
Metro police say the accident happened around 9:15 p.m., near the intersection of Twain and Tenaya. The victim collided with a structure, but officers did not confirm whether it was a house or some other structure.
Police say after the accident, the man got out of his vehicle and fell into a nearby pit. The height of the fall was not immediately known, but police estimate 30 to 50 feet.
Clark County Fire crews are on scene, working to get the man out. He is said to be moving, though his condition is not known.
