Posted: Updated:

Authorities released the name of a 67-year-old man who, along with an 88-year-old woman, was found in a burned Henderson home on July 17.

The Clark County Coroner's Office did not disclose a cause and manner of death for Ralph Eugene Griffin.

The fire happened at 2:30 a.m. Wednesday at a home on Armstrong Circle, near the intersection of Burkholder Boulevard and Center Street.

Firefighters said that when they arrived, heavy smoke was coming from the home. They said when crews entered the home, they found the bodies of a man and a woman inside.

On Friday, the Clark County Coroner's Office identified the woman as 88-year-old Dona Griffin.

Officials said the fire began in the living room, but the cause is still under investigation.

Investigators said they do not believe foul play was involved in the two's deaths.
