Robin Thicke to headline Vegas concert in August

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

The man responsible for one of the summer's biggest hits has been tapped to perform next month in Las Vegas.

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas announced Monday a show headlined by Robin Thicke with supporting acts Jason DeRulo and Sammy Adams.

The Strip resort-casino said the show slated for Saturday, Aug. 17 is part of the inaugural Summer Pool Fiesta powered by Radio.com. The property's Boulevard Pool will stage the outdoor show.

Thicke, who has thrived as a R&B/soul singer, found crossover success with radio hit Blurred Lines, which features Pharrell and T.I. Thicke is preparing to release a new album with the same name.

Tickets, which start at $35, go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. at cosmopolitanlasvegas.com or through Ticketmaster at 1-800-745-3000.

The Cosmopolitan is also offering a limited number of premium cabanas at nightlifemarketing@cosmopolitanlasvegas.com.
