Police searching for man who robbed disabled victim on Strip

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Metro police are looking for the man responsible for robbing a disabled 71-year-old man on the Las Vegas Strip on July 13.

Police said that the suspect attacked the victim, and stole his money at 12:30 a.m. at an undisclosed location.

The suspect is described as between 20 and 25 years old, between 5'5" and 5'7', and between 210 and 230 pounds. He was wearing a blue polo shirt, dark shorts and carrying a black satchel.

Though the person in the pictures accompanying this story match the description of the suspect, police said he is a person of interest in the case, and was seen following the victim prior to the robbery.
